S'MORES & Gelatin Free Marshmallow!

Hey everybody! I have a couple REALLY easy ones today, with a few tips on taking the average s'more to a memorable level. Even if you do not make the graham crackers yourself, if you're careful with the ingredients you buy, your graham crackers will be freakin AMAZING!

Lets talk about marshmallows, baby! I know, we're used to the cute little puff balls that are stuffed on the bottom shelf of our baking goods section of our grocery store. We see them, we don't think twice, and we buy them. They aren't the real deal. Whether you are gelatin free like me, or you don't mind eating gelatin, homemade is best, guys. I'm not suggesting you make them either. We can go there, but not today. I won't even play around. It's messy beyond ridiculousness making marshmallows, but oh man, so worth it. It's totally one of those projects where I suggest you set aside an afternoon on doing so. Homemade marshmallows means endless flavor possibilities. Peach, peppermint, chocolate, caramel, strawberry shortcake flavored, etc etc etc.
I think I'll have to do a marshmallow blog soon. gaaah!

In the meantime, here are my absolute favorite gelatin free marshmallows so freakin good!!! You can order them HERE

Ok, so buy homemade. You can find these at specialty stores such as Whole Foods, or at a great bakery. You can even find them online. You can find them online dusted in coconut. Anyways!!!!!! They are denser, they taste of yummy vanilla, they are melt in your mouth, and all around amazing. They taste pure, yet complex. Please, if you haven't, try the real stuff guys.

Lets talk graham cracker...

Homemade graham crackers, or ones in the whole foods section or at whole foods that are sold in the bakery department are beyond amazing. They are toasty, caramelized tasting, lightly sweet, and crisp. They are NOTHIN like the stuff that comes in the blue box. NOTHING compared to that stuff.

Oh chocolate!
So, in America, we're known for our factory candy. Our candy which I grew up on eating, and sometimes, my kids want a treat that isn't from a chocolatier. After all, they're kids! That stuff however, isn't real chocolate. As a matter of a fact, it doesn't even contain a cocoa % on the back or front of the bar. Go see for yourself. Good chocolate, isn't 2 for $1.00. Sorry to say, but it will be amazing, pure and memorable. Especially melted between crisp homemade, toasty graham crackers, and those amazing marshmallows that you could fluff up and take a nap on.
The best part of amazing chocolates? They come in amazing flavors. Get creative. Here, I have a salted milk chocolate s'more, and a white chocolate with Tahitian vanilla bean. AMAZING AMAZING STUFF!

Don't be afraid to spend a couple extra dollars on an extremely memorable, simple dessert. Your family, guests, etc will ALWAYS talk about them.
