Sleepy and Pretty with Cherries


There has been a lot of buzz lately about plant based melatonin being a more stable than the variety which is derived from animal's pineal glands and chemically altered and available over the counter. Not only do cherries offer a nutrient complex variety that aids in arthritis, glucose regulation and skin health, they also offer healthier brain function and stable sleeping patterns. 

Plant based nutrients are easier absorbed by the body (and opt for organic because they contain twice the nutrient density). 


Skin benefits: Studies suggest that compounds in cherries contribute to hormone regulation, which regulates an even skin tone. No dark spots for us! Plus, adequate sleep is super important for dewy skin. (I need to practice this particular step much more often than I do!) 

So eat up, sleep well, and wake up with happy skin!
